Sally Dutko is an award-winning fiber artist who lives and works in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York and in the lovely winter weather of Southwest Florida. She dyes and paints much of the fabric used in her art quilts, mixed media collages, soft sculptures and figures.
Sally received her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art, Architecture and Engineering. Sally’s background in fine art and design has greatly influenced her work. She retired from over 30 years at Cornell University as a graphic designer, Art Director and Director of Publications and Marketing. She has been featured on “Simply Quilts” and the online program, “The Quilt Show” and is a regular on the Ithaca Art Trail where she shows hundreds of visitors each year through her colorful studio.
