Who is Rose Hughes?

Hello, my name is Rose Hughes. I jumped into my art quilt life in 2003 and never looked back.

Before retiring from travel in 2018, I shared my quilting passions by lecturing and teaching, and through several books on my stitch friendly method of construction, Fast-Piece-Appliqué. You’ll find my fabricy art quilts in exhibits worldwide and on-line. Newer works encompass elements such as copper enamel while mixing them together with my long loved elements of hand stitching.
