How to Enhance Quilting Stencils with Alex
Hello, my name is Kumiko Frydl and I am originally from Japan and presently live in the USA. I have a background in commercial arts and dressmaking. I started quilting in 1987 after I moved to Canada. I started with quilted garments and moved on to medium sized quilts. Because my husband’s job required us to move frequently from city to city, I began to concentrate mainly on miniature quilts which are easier to transport. I also tended towards miniature because I really enjoy the detailed and precise workmanship required. My favorite techniques are paper foundation piecing, Trapunto and micro stippling.
