Who is Heather Purcell?

Bob and Heather Purcell started Superior Threads in 1998, working out of their garage. Bob had recognized Heather’s quilting addiction in the mid 90s and together, they saw the opportunity to keep Heather happy and joined the quilting industry. Nearly two decades later, Superior is proud to have provided dozens of the industry’s most popular products. They said goodbye to the garage and moved into their 25,000 sq. ft office and warehouse surrounded by the beautiful red rocks of St. George, Utah.

In 2016, they joined the Premier Needle Arts family in order to help continue to provide exceptional products for passionate creators.

Sadly, in July 2022, Heather lost her battle with cancer and will be forever missed!
