Hello, my name is Ebony Love, and I created LoveBug Studios as an outlet for my creative energy and to feed my soul. At the time I created my design studio, I had no idea how passionate I would become about sharing my designs and teaching others about this wonderful craft that I love.
Over time, my business has changed and grown from taking commissions & creating custom quilts for clients to teaching the love of quilting to others. I do this teaching primarily online, but I also travel to guilds and shows to teach in person. Soon, I will bring my teaching to a public studio I’m opening called MADE Creative Fiber Arts Studio.
There are many facets to my business, but I try to focus around three major areas: Cut. Quilt. Love. It’s a tagline that really encompassed all that I want to do and be.
“Cut” is about the process of taking your fabric from yardage to usable pieces that are ready to sew. Primarily this focuses on die cutting and the tools and education you need to be successful.
“Quilt” refers to the entire process of making quilts, from piecing to finishing and everything in between.
“Love” is all about creating community, sharing things that I love, the people I love, and helping you to discover your love of quilting and sewing.
