Hello, my name is Cyndi McChesney . I am a quilt artist, author, long-arm quilter, teacher and lecturer, who revels in finding simple solutions to complex questions about quilt making and quilt design.
I am the author of Fun with Panels and Playful Panel Quilts C&T Publishing, available now directly from me or at your local quilt shop!
I take pride in providing quality education and excellence in teaching through my classes and workshops.
My long-arm business is focused on doing outstanding work on every quilt that comes across my threshold.
It is my dream to inspire you to have fun and discover what you can create. My teaching style is very relaxed and I provide plenty of group instruction, along with helping individual students with their projects. I want students to have fun while becoming inspired and learning new techniques.
In 2011, I achieved the distinguished title of National Quilt Association Certified Teacher and in 2015 was presented the NQA Certified Teacher of the Year. I have won awards for my quilts in the Hoffman Challenge (2010), the Hoffman Challenge Traveling exhibits (2011-13), the Colorado State Fair (2009-2018), the 2013 NQA Annual Show, Quilt Colorado (2014) and in 2012 was one of three Invitational Exhibitors at Interquilt 2012 in Girona, Spain.
