Hello, my name is Christine Porter. I am now retiring after 25 years teaching quilting. I am internationally known as a teacher, lecturer and quilt judge throughout Great Britain, and in the USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Dubai, Kuwait, New Zealand, Spain, Turkey and France.

I have taught all over the United States, and for many years on cruises for Quilt Seminars at Sea, as well as several residential classes in Burgundy, France. Two years ago my quilts were exhibited in France and Istanbul, Turkey.

I have published 6 books and have four DVDs to my credit. I have developed rulers with Creative Grids and now have my own rulers for my latest book – an eBook called ‘Sensational Circle Quilts’.

I run Cabot Quilting Conferences, bringing top international teachers to the UK to teach residential courses in 4 star hotels. I also run very popular 4-day long Quilt Retreats in luxury hotel surroundings in Bristol.

I am the British coordinator for the World Quilt Show in the USA, as well as the UK Cabot Quilters Challenge In 2010 I was awarded the Amy Emms Award for Services to British Quilting.
